Just recently, International Olympic Committee has officially announced  the right to host the Summer Olympics in 2016 belongs to the city Rio de Zaneiro of Brazil. This means that this is also the first Summer Olympics to be held in a Latin American country.

However, President Tokyo warned that the 2016 Olympics could be mankind's last Olympics because it is the time of global warming to attain a serious threat to humans.

This pessimistic conclusion has given after a meeting between scientists about the effects of climate change, often leads to disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis or volcanoes.

If these conclusions are true, mankind has only 7 years to overcome in order to reduce the disaster can happen to the Earth. Olympic 2016 - Games of the XXXI Olympiad

Olympic 2016

The 2016 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, is a major international multi-sport event due to be celebrated in the tradition of the Olympic Games, as governed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The host city of the Games will be Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as announced at the 121st IOC Session held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on October 2, 2009. They are scheduled to be held from August 5 to 21, 2016, making them the first Summer Olympics to be held during the host city's wintertime. This will mark the first time a South American city hosts the event, and also the first time a Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) country hosts the event.

The Rio 2016 logo was designed by Tatíl Design, a Brazilian company, and unveiled on December 31, 2010. The logo represents three figures, in the yellow, green and blue of the Brazilian flag, joined at the arms and in a triple embrace, with the overall shape reflecting that of Sugarloaf Mountain. The logo was based on four concepts: contagious energy, harmonious diversity, exuberant nature and Olympic spirit. The Rio firm Tatil designed the winning entry for the logo in a competition involving 139 agencies. According to IOC President Jacques Rogge, the logo really catches the vision of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil for these Games. The logo has been noted as evoking Henri Matisse's painting Dance.
